Sorry to post, I know the answer is _somewhere_ in the archives, but I've already spent a couple hours looking and today is the only day for a while that I'll have time to play with this. The best answer I've come up with is this:
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/DynoMotion/message/1014
I bought a KAnalog with the hopes of being able to wire my stip/dir connections (I need to connect (4) G251s) to screw terminals. I assumed (I know... I know what it means to assume :-) that I could use the opto-isolated outputs for this. But it appears from the above link (Message #1014) that this isn't an option. This isn't a deal breaker for me as I have a G540 (opto-isolated) that I can use but I've already installed and wired up the (4) G251s in my box, and want to make double sure before I backtrack too much.
Not really a complaint about any of DynoMotion products, but isn't there a quote related to C programming that goes something like "The C programming language gives you great power and flexibility... to create great and flexible bugs to hang your self with"? The KFlop is amazingly flexible, but it looks like I didn't do enough research ahead of time and painted myself into a corner :-)
Thanks for your time!
